Grades 3 & up. This extensive lab covers basic fraction skills and concepts such as fraction recognition and modeling, equivalent fractions, relative size, and common denominators using halves, thirds, fourths, sixths, eighths, and twelfths. Players perform addition and subtraction with an emphasis on building sums of "one". The lab also highlights the relationship of fractions with decimals and percents.
