e-DESSA Single Assessment

Grade K - Grade 8. The web-based Devereux Student Strengths Assessment (e-DESSA) allows the user a single administration of the DESSA  for a child to be completed on-line. In addition to completing all scoring, the web-based application also generates numerous reports including:

• individual child profile
• classroom profile
• rater comparison (parent to parent, teacher to parent, and teacher to teacher)
• pre and post comparisons to measure outcomes

Reports that can be viewed online and printed as pdf documents. The web-based application also stores the assessment results in a secure database. Paper forms are not needed when using the electronic e-DESSA version. The e-DESSA is a component of the e-DECA platform which is purchased on an annual basis.

e-DECA Suite of Services

The e-DECA is a web-based computer version of the entire suite of Devereux' Center for Resilient Children Assessments, which includes the:

Devereux Early Childhood Assessment for Infants and Toddlers (DECA-I/T)

Devereux Early Childhood Assessment (DECA)

Devereux Early Childhood Assessment - Clinical Form (DECA-C)

Devereux School Age Assessment (DESSA)

Devereux School Age Assessment Mini (DESSA-Mini)

The e-DECA administers the assessment online, completes all scoring, stores in a database, and generates numeric and graphic summaries of results.

The e-DECA program requires an annual Web maintenance license and online electronic record forms. Each license allows one person full administrative access to the e-DECA data for her/his program. This "administrator" is also responsible for delegating the appropriate access privileges to the program's staff. Online electronic record forms can be purchased for use By-Administration or By-Child.
