With Mine for Gems students will have fun finding treasure as they excavate gems such as pyrite, geodes, amethyst, quartz crystals, calcite, and more. There are 10 real gemstones burried inside. Each kit includes a gemstone dig site in a metal tray, 2 digging tools, and a 12 page full-color adventure guide. With Break Open Real Geodes children will enjoy breaking real geodes and discovering beautiful crystals formed years ago by prehistoric volcanoes. This kit includes safety goggles, six geodes from one mine, and a full-color adventure guide. The geodes range in size from 1 1/2" - 2" in diameter.
